INTERLIBRARY LOAN
Obtaining Printed Resources at SCU Library
While many journal articles are available online at the University Library's web site or through its databases, you may find an article that you want that is available only in a printed journal at the University Library. You may also want to use a chapter or other sections within a book that is available in print at our library. If you are not close enough to Santa Clara University this summer to come to our library to use these resources in person, our library's interlibrary loan staff can scan the pages that you need and deliver them electronically to your personal interlibrary loan account. To request this service, click to login to your interlibrary loan account and fill out an interlibrary loan request form for each item, and indicate in the Notes field that you are taking ENGL 103 remotely.
Obtaining Resources Not Available at SCU Library
You may learn of good journal articles and other sources of information that are not part of the University Library's collection, either online or in print. You may request them on interlibrary loan, and our library's staff will ask libraries that do have them to deliver copies electronically to your personal interlibrary loan account. To request this service, click to login to your interlibrary loan account and fill out an interlibrary loan request form for each item, and indicate in the Notes field that you are taking ENGL 103 remotely.
Creating Your Personal Interlibrary Loan Account
The first time you request something on interlibrary loan, you will be asked to create your own personal interlibrary loan account. You can do that here. You can find out more about creating an account and using the library's interlibrary loan service by reading the interlibrary loan FAQ page.
