Did you ever wonder what was going on in the world the day you were born?
The library has lots of databases that can help you do history research, but the most fun to use are the archives of old newspapers.
- For example, try the NEW YORK TIMES ARCHIVES
- Click on the link above to access it. Under “Publication Date”, select ON THIS DATE and enter the date of your birth.
- You can also use the first search box to describe what you are most interested in. For example: WORLD or SPORTS or GOVERNMENT or FASHION.
