ENGL 2A: Ethics and Activism (Krane Winter 2021)

Browse and Find Ebooks

We have you covered for books -- there are more than 160,000 ebooks in the library.  Use them for identifying and exploring broad and deep conversations around your topic. Follow the instructions below.

Step 1:  Start your search for ebooks directly off the library homepage under the "streaming videos/ebooks" tab.

Example ebook search using search terms "music" AND "African American" AND "protest" as search terms

Step 2: Keep your search words focused on the big ideas or concepts. Use just a few essential words, like shown above. Other examples:

Music AND (protest or activism)
Music AND African-American AND (protest or activism)
Rap music AND protest or activism)

Wondering about that asterisk (*)? It searches for any word with "protest" as its root, so protests, protestor, protesting, etc.

Wondering about the quotes ("")? It searches for those words as an exact phrase.

Wondering about the (..or...)?  Use that to search for synonyms.

Step 3: Once you find a title you like, connect to it by clicking on the "connect to this title online" box.

An image showing you how to open an ebook. Click on the "connect" button to launch the ebook.
