A guide to researching plays, playwrights, performance types, and production histories in different time periods and global theatrical traditions

Finding Films

Our library has copies of many plays on film, including at least one filmed version of every play by Shakespeare.  To find them, do a Title Search in the library catalog and type the title of the play.  When your results appear on the screen, click the "Limit/Sort Search Results" link towards the top of the screen.  Then, in the "Limit by Material Types" drop-down box, select "Streaming Videos" to find films available online, and "Videos" to find films available on DVD or videocassette.
