Dissertations & Theses
Search citations and abstracts of dissertations and theses submitted by Santa Clara University and other participating institutions. Allows a 24-page preview of all dissertations published after 1996. SCU affiliated users may download the full-text of any SCU dissertation pubiished after 1996.
This database is accessible along with the engineering databases on the library's website.
To search only this database:
Click on the "advanced" search tab. Use the "Database:" pull-down menu to select "Interdisciplinary - Dissertations & Theses."
In the first search box, type in the keyword(s) describing the dissertation or thesis you are searching for.
In the second box, type in "Santa Clara University," and use the pull-down menu to select "School name/code."
Click on search.
RefWorks Citation Manager
- RefWorksFor the SCU Community - The library subscribes to citation management software which collects, organizes, and formats references you import or add from databases, catalogs, etc. After signing up for an account, you can format your citations and footnotes or a bibliography in MLA, APA, etc. A Google Docs plug-in enables you to add your citations while writing your paper. Once in Google Docs, select "Add-ons," and click on ProQuest RefWorks.
