  • Social Science Research Network (SSRN)
    SSRN is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research. The site includes thousands of freely available research and working papers in the field of social sciences.

  • FirstMonday
    FirstMonday is a very interesting peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to research about the internet.
  • Pew Internet and American Life Project
    For trends and statistics related to the Internet, this is a great site. "The Pew Internet & American Life Project is  a nonpartisan, nonprofit "fact tank" that  produces reports exploring the impact of the internet on families, communities, work and home, daily life, education, health care, and civic and political life."


Should you use Google?

If you do searches in GOOGLE to find information on your topic, remember that you will have to evaluate each site to see if the information is reliable. 

You can also use Google Scholar, which is more likely to give you scholarly articles.
