if you are not on campus or would prefer to find only online books, this is the easiest way to limit your search to ebooks only.

1. Go to the library home page (www.scu.edu/library). 
2. Click on the "Streaming Videos/eBooks" tab at the top. In the eBooks search box, enter keywords describing your topic. 

For example: "supreme court" 
 

OSCAR catalogs the library's print and electronic books, journals and other resources. If you find something that fits your topic and you are not on-site, you can request residential delivery.
 

Cannot Find a Book You Need?

When searching OSCAR, click on the LINK+ icon. This will allow you to search a variety of other academic and public libraries. If you find a book that meets your needs, you can request it. Typically books take 3-4 business days to arrive and you can pick them up at the Library Help Desk. Unfortunately, libraries cannot share electronic books at this time.

Most current videos are available as streaming video. The Library also has some older videos that are only available in DVD format. In the latter case, check with the Library Help Desk staff on locating DVD players in the Library. Here is a simple way to limit your search to streaming videos.
