To Find In-Depth Film Reviews and Articles about CRASH

On the left several databases are listed.  Each of them can help you find specific types of reviews and articles.  For example, if you want in-depth reviews or critical analysis published in specialized film journals and magazines, you should use  the databases Film and Television Literature Index and Communication Source.  Just enter the title of the film you are researching in one search box. Then enter the last name of the director in the second box.  For example:

If you want reviews of the film published in ethnic newspapers and magazines, use the database Ethnic News Watch.  It covers sources that are often not included in the mainstream databases,

If you don't find enough reviews of the film in the two databases above, then check for a review in the New York Times.  They are usually very good.

Finally if you are looking for articles on a specific topic addressed in the film (racial profiling for example), use a multidisciplinary databases such as Academic Search Complete.  You can also use it to find reviews of the films from magazines of commentary and opinion.
