Link+
LINK+ is a hard copy book / media borrowing consortium in California and Nevada. If a patron is looking for a known item in OSCAR and it's not available, click the LINK+ icon to see if it is available from another library in the network. You may also search LINK+ directly, but you will want to make sure that an item is not available at SCU before you request it from another institution. To use LINK+, there is no additional registration--we use our Library Barcodes (printed on the back of the Access Card) to place LINK+ requests. Items arrive in 2-4 days--generally more quickly via LINK+ than they would via ILLiad.

SEARCHING TIPS
- In OSCAR (catalog), choose Subject from dropdown menu and enter your term: Alzheimer's, depression, neurobiology, neuroscience, etc. To view results by date published, choose Sort > Date (newest first) from dropdown menu.
- To get related books, click on Subject links in the record of a book that interests you.
- To search eBooks only, click the "Streaming Videos / eBooks" tab on the Library Homepage, and use the search box for eBooks.
- For books we do not have, borrow them from our LINK+ network: click LINK+ here. Click Request This Item. Choose Santa Clara University from the "which institution" dropdown menu. Follow the resulting directions.
