BIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCE WORKS
In addition to famous people of antiquity whose names are familiar to us all, these reference books contain articles about lesser known people as well. Besides summarizing what is known about them, the articles also include bibliographical references, which tell the sources where one can look next for more information.
