PSYC 120: Perception
 

                    

 

A theoretical and empirical investigation of human perceptual processes, with an emphasis on visual perception. Topics include psychophysiology of vision; perceiving visual space (shape, contrast, orientation, distance, depth, and motion); color perception; perceptual illusions; imagining versus perceiving; effects of knowledge on perception; and perception in "novel" environments.
