PSYC 125: Psychology of Sexual Orientation & Gender Diversity
Examines the psychological experience and mental health issues of the range of sexual orientations and diverse gender identities, with a focus on intersectionality. Explores models and theories of sex and gender, examines the biological roots and social construction of sexuality and gender, as well as effects of stigma on sex and gender minorities. Includes discussion of history of societal and psychological treatment and diagnosis.
