ENGL 1A: Critical Thinking & Writing (Crosby)

Welcome to The Game of Research! In today's class, you will be fill out this Google Form by participating on the board game. You will be required to think about your research question, identify keywords, conduct searches, and physically go in search of books! Yes, you will be leaving the room today so this is our trust exercise. Here are the instructions for today's activity:

1. Open the Google Form. This form will help you complete the assignment for your class.
2. Pick a game piece for yourself. You can take a picture of your piece so you can remember which one is yours.
3. Place your game piece on the "Start" box. Grab the card for 1 and go back to your desk. 
4. Complete each of the task on the card and continue to move your piece on the game board. If you need help, please let me or your professor know.
5. When you hit a PIT STOP, grab the PIT STOP card according to the order (Pit Stop 1, Pit Stop 2, Pit Stop 3). Make sure you do the Pit Stop!
6. Eventually, you will leave the room and go in search of a book. Please make sure you show the location and call number. Yes, please find a physical book!
7. Upon completing the activity (Get to Finish), submit your Google Form and show your professor or myself the submission screen. You may come up to the Prize Table and spin the wheel at your chance to win a prize!
