Notice that online periodicals are cited exactly as their print counterparts with the addition of a DOI or URL at the end of the citation. If you include the URL, you need to make sure that you are using a "persistent" or "permanent" URL.
If you found the article in a database, you cannot simply copy and paste the URL showing in the address box at the top of the screen. This URL is not persistent and will not work later on. If you are using one of the EBSCO databases for example, you first need to click on the Permalink icon. You will then get the correct URL you should use in your citation:
