Below is a list of suggested library databases you might use to research your peace architect or peace issue.
Step 1: Identify possible subject or disciplinary areas of your topic. For example, if you are interested in business ethics issues related to the treatment of women in the workplace, you might select a business database, women & gender studies, and a religious studies database. It's a good idea to search in several, because different databases cover different topics or perspectives.
Step 2: Identify your keywords. Distill your topic into the most essential concepts, don't use sentences to search (it's not like Google). Stuck? Ask Melanie for help.
Step 3: As you're searching in a database, note the language of the authors. That will give you new ways to search for your topic. For example, you might search on "religious views" but find that "spirituality" is used more often by scholars.
