Job Opportunity: Undergraduate Learning Librarian

Join Santa Clara University Library as our Undergraduate Learning Librarian, applying your teaching experience to supporting the undergraduate information literacy program. You’ll have a key role in developing and delivering instruction for high-impact and core curricular courses, building digital learning materials for use across the program, and contributing to the library’s teaching community of practice. In addition, your role includes providing specialized research consultation, instruction, and collection development for the departments of History and Religious Studies, the Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries, and the Jesuit School of Theology. You will bring your creativity and communication skills to close collaborations with the Head of Instruction & Assessment (to whom you will also directly report), two other subject librarians in the Instruction & Assessment department, and librarians in the Research, Outreach, and Inclusion department.

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara University is California’s oldest operating institution of higher education and in 2017 received the ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries Award.  Expand your career in a vibrant academic environment and make a lasting impact on the Library during a time of institutional change and growth. The position is available starting in August 2024.
