Instructions for creating your WSJ.com account

To activate your library-sponsored WSJ.com account:

  • Navigate to https://wsj.com/SantaClara
  • Create your account by selecting the appropriate account type and entering your name, graduation month/year (if a student), SCU email address, and password. A confirmation email will be sent to your SCU email address.
  • Open the confirmation email, click "Start Reading," and then sign in at the Wall Street Journal's website.
  • Important: Select "Send verification email" when prompted.
  • Verify your email and sign in at wsj.com. If set up was completed successfully, you should see your name in the upper right-hand corner of the website.

If you currently have a personal WSJ account tied to your SCU email address and want to take advantage of the University Library's complimentary school-sponsored membership, please call 1-800-568-7625 Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM to cancel your personal subscription. The Library is not able to manage accounts on your behalf. Once any personal subscriptions have been cancelled, please sign up with the directions below.
