TESP 129: Religion & Peace (Gibson Spr20)

Research a Peace Issue

If you've chosen a peace issue as your assignment, here are my recommendations on how to use this guide to research that topic.

Find Background Information: Start here. Select one or more of the social issues databases (Gale eBooks, CQ Researcher).
Find and Use Books:  Next, explore eBooks related to your topic. Books are great for synthesizing a lot of research in one place.
Find Scholarly Articles: Finally, now you know more about your issue, dive deep into discussion, analysis, and research relating to it.
Locate Primary Sources: Learn about primary sources and explore some tools recommended by the library to find them.

Before moving on, consider watching the videos below which deal with common frustrations students face doing research, with some solutions.
