Since the start of the new Trump administration, hundreds of federal data sets and government websites have gone offline without warning, sometimes returning with major changes and sometimes not returning at all. This section of your research guide will focus on how you can find archived versions of government data websites made possible by the efforts by many organizations to archive and preserve federal government information.

Please be aware that this already (as of 4/25/25) applies to whole data sources (such as ERIC), as well as specific topics (such as Climate Change), as well as information relating to specific populations or study groups (such as any group perceived to be related to DEI or LGBTQ+).
