BIOL 6: The Oceans (Hart)

This course guide was created to support BIOL 6: The oceans

Welcome!

Energy & Matter Research Guide

The purpose of this course guide is to support you in completing your assignments having to do with the search for, identification of, and evaluation of outside sources used in BIOL 6.

The course BIOL 6, The Oceans, will encourage students to examine the ocean environment from a physical, biological, ecological and evolutionary perspective. This exploration of the marine environment will include an examination of human impacts of marine communities worldwide and a look at current events impacting the oceans. The course is geared towards non-science majors and as such the learning goals of the course should be attainable to students from a wide variety of majors across the university.
