Renewing access through the Library

Follow the instructions below to renew a New York Times Academic Pass (required every 364 days).

  1. Visit NYTimesInEducation.com and enter "Santa Clara University" in the Find School... search box:

  2. On the registration page, click the "Already have an account? Log in here »" link:
    Click "Already have an Account? Log in here" to log into your existing NYTimes account using your SCU email address

     
  3. Log in using your existing NYTimes account previously created with your SCU email address:

  4. After successfully logging in, an email will be sent to your SCU email address:
    Check your email to validate your account. We sent an email to: SCU Email. Please click the link in the message to validate your email address. If you have not received the validation email from us, please check your spam filter.

     
  5. IMPORTANT To enable access, click the link in the email to verify your email address:
    NYTimes.com Confirm Your Email Address email

     
  6. Please enter your details as requested and click the Sign Up button:
    Please submit your details to redeem your pass

     
  7. You will receive a confirmation your academic pass has been claimed. You can also click the button to set a reminder to renew your access when it expires:
