This guide was designed for students taking HIST 101. It includes links to tools and resources to assist you in research and instruction and advice for getting the most out of those tools and resources. I've tried to limit the "instruction and advice" to a minimum. However, you would be wise to read it because it is intended to save you time and frustration.
Chapter 8 in the book Going to the Sources (cover linked above) is a great guide to the research you are about to do. You might want to read it early on.
