On this guide, you'll find tips and resources to help with your annotated bibliography assignment. You'll also find links to the materials we will use in class.
From your syllabus:
An annotated bibliography includes summaries of relevant research in your area of study. For this assignment, you will complete eight annotations of research studies related to your emerging research interests and with a focus on issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. The studies can be books, articles, and/or reports of your choosing. As noted, DEI and social justice encompasses a broad spectrum of ideas, concepts and
approaches. This is opportunity to explore and/or deepen your area of interest through this lens. You may choose up to two readings from this class to include in the bibliography. Your summaries should be at least one paragraph long (final product 3-4 pages, double spaced) and address the following:
• What is the purpose of the study?
• What are study’s findings you want to highlight?
• How does this work relate to your research interests?
• Anything else you find compelling (e.g., methodology or questions that arise)
