Alternate Resources for Community Patrons

At this time the SCU Library is not able to provide access to our materials and online resources to members of the community. The following resources are alternate options for community members. Please note: Due to the fluid nature of the COVID-19 crisis, the availability of services listed may change.

Government documents

While many federal depository libraries in the Bay Area remain closed due to COVID-19, the California State Library offers email reference services and in-person appointments. More information can be found at

Archives and Special Collections

Archives & Special Collections is only taking research appointments from SCU students, staff, and faculty at this time. Department staff continue to service requests from external researchers via phone, email, and other digital technologies. The FedEx Office Print and Ship Center at 2125 El Camino Real has two computer workstations available for rental, as well as printing and copy services. More information can be found at
