To find books on your topic:
1. Go to scu.edu/library
2. In the search bar, enter in keywords relating to your topic. For example:
3. REMINDER: Always check the locations of the books. Some books are located in the ARS (Automated Retrieval System) this is where we store most of our books. If you wish to borrow books from the ARS, you will need to request them. If a book's location shows University Main Stacks, Lower Level Available the book is available on the shelf. You can come in to the library and grab it off the shelf or you can request it.
When you place a REQUEST for a book, you will receive an email when the book is ready for pickup from the library's help desk.
To find physical books in the SCU Library
Step 2: Here is an example of a book that is available in the library. The results will show if the book is available and the location in the library. You can come into the library to grab your book from the shelf! However, if you would like for our library staff to pull the book and hold it for you, please follow step 3!
Step 3: If you select the title of the book on the next page you will see REQUEST THIS ITEM . You will be notified when the book is ready for pick up.
2. Select eBook on the left menu toolbar (This will narrow your results to only eBooks)
Select the link "Available Online" to connect to the eBook
