University Library Diversity Fellowship

Have you ever considered a career in librarianship?  Now is your chance to explore this amazing profession!

In 2018, the University Library launched a Diversity Fellowship program designed to expose undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to librarianship and to give them the opportunity for professional-level work in an academic library setting.

This is a paid, year-long internship, which will provide opportunities to explore the different areas of academic librarianship (collection development, instruction and research assistance, events and outreach, digital initiatives, technical services), as well as the chance to work on a wide range of projects related to diversity and inclusion issues.

Required number of hours:  10 to 15 hours a week

Salary:  $15 to $16 an hour depending on qualifications
