EDUC: Education Research Resources

ERIC contains a variety of teaching materials, published in different formats. To find them, use the Document Type or Publication Type filter to limit your results. These two categories will be most helpful:

• Guides - Classroom - Teacher
• Guides - Classroom - Learner

In ERIC via the library (EBSCO), the document type filter can be applied before or after you search.

In ERIC via the Department of Education, run your search, and then limit your results under publication type.

SCU Collection

The SCU Library has a small collection of children's books. Some are on the shelves on the second floor for browsing, and some are stored in our onsite storage (ARS).

Search the Books tab on the library website to locate materials:

• Title of a book, to locate a specific item
• Author name (in Last, First format), to find books by a specific person

Or, browse the following lists:

• University Library Curriculum Collection, 2nd Floor (a list of all the items on the second floor)
• University Library ARS Curriculum Collection (a list of all the items in onsite storage)

Santa Clara City Library

SCU students can access the Santa Clara City Library. The Mission Branch is a few blocks off campus.

Professional organizations, magazines, and other websites can be additional sources of curriculum and teaching materials.
