Borrow from Other Libraries: Place an Interlibrary Loan Request

As an SCU student, you can request books and articles for free, even if SCU Library doesn't own the original. This is called InterLibrary Loan, or ILL for short.

When in doubt, submit an ILL request! If we have it at SCU, we'll get it for you. If we don't, we'll get it from another library.

If you request an article or a book chapter, we will send you a PDF of the item usually within 2 business days, but sometimes it's much quicker and only takes a few minutes for the PDF to arrive. For full-length books or other media, we will try to get you the full physical item, in which case it takes longer to arrive via snail mail and you'll have to come to the library to pick it up.

You can use SCU Library's interlibrary loan service.
