ENVS 132 / BIOL 131: Agroecology

 

"The goal of agroecology is to reduce the negative environmental impact of farming, while meeting the food needs of the world. Course examines current agricultural practices and evaluates alternative methods, including organic farming, agroforestry, and applications of agricultural biotechnology. The special problems of agriculture in the developing world are discussed."
