Citation Management Tools
Keeping track of your research as well as formatting bibliographic information correctly can be done with citation management tools, such as RefWorks and Zotero.
- Zotero Bibliography GeneratorZotero helps you build a bibliography instantly from any computer or device. Santa Clara University Library will be replacing the campus subscription to RefWorks with the free citation management platform Zotero on June 30, 2024.
The SCU Library has a number of resources to help you through this change, including one-on-one support for migrating your citations from RefWorks to Zotero.
General Citation Management
The most common citation methods used in college are APA, MLA, and Chicago Style. Expect to use one or all three citation methods throughout your undergraduate career.
