To find good web resources on archaeological sites, try the following first:

 

The George and Mary Foster Anthropology Library, UC Berkeley

Archaeological Parks in the U.S.

Center for the Study of the First Americans

 

Specific Sites:

The African Burial Ground

Archaeology at the Presidio (San Francisco)

Monticello Archaeology
Click on "Download Reports and Data" to get some of the archaeological reports)

Cahokia Mounds

Makah Culture and History Links (Ozette archaeological site)



 

If you do searches in GOOGLE to find information on your topic, remember that you will have to evaluate each site to see if the information is reliable. To evaluate web sites, use the following handout:
