Are you interested in working at the Library? Follow the instructions on this guide to get on the list for future positions. Working in the library is a great experience! We depend on our student assistant staff to carry out the library's mission. You will gain valuable skills in customer service and library resources. Good luck -- we look forward to meeting you!

Please note that at this time, all student assistant positions are full and we are not actively hiring. We will likely start hiring for the summer quarter in March or April. Please keep an eye on the library's social media for updates!


About the Application Process

We are looking for motivated students who value a positive and professional work environment. Fill out and submit the online application. When openings become available, you will be contacted via e-mail or phone to set up an interview time.  All interviews should take between 15 and 25 minutes. 

  • Arrive on time
  • Know who your interviewer is
  • Show up well groomed and well dressed 
  • Don't be afraid to ask questions! 
  • Come prepared with your schedule availability (night and weekend availability are crucial for some positions)
  • If you are not going to make the interview, let your interviewer know well in advance
