Library Service Quality Survey (LibQUAL+): What We Did

Open Library Earlier

In response to your feedback, we now:

Open the Library at 7am: Beginning in Fall 2014, the Library began opening the Library at 7am instead of 7:30am to give students more time to prepare for 8am classes.

Add More Seating

In response to your feedback, we have:

Created more user seating on the 1st floor for individual as well as group study space. The Library relocated the reference collection shelves on the 1st floor so that additional seating and semi-private group study areas could be added. Over 80 new seats have been added to the first floor.

More Charging Options

In response to your feedback, we have added:

More charging ports for USBs, ipad, phones, etc.

Improve Printing Services

In response to your feedback, we now offer:

Expedited printing services: The redesign of the 1st floor allowed us to move printing stations to be closer to the front entrance of the building.

Redesign the Website

In response to your feedback, we redesigned the library website in early 2016.

Add Snack and Drink Vending Machines

In response to your feedback, we now have:

Snack and drink vending machines: In Fall 2014, the Library added snack and drink vending machines on the 1st floor, next to the office supplies vending machine, directly across from the elevators.

Earlier opening hours for the Sunstream Cafe: Dining Services now opens the cafe at 8:30am.
