Interlibrary Loan (ILL) & LINK+ are services to help you borrow materials and receive digital copies of articles from libraries, both locally and around the world.
In addition to the traditional library service for obtaining print and digitized materials from libraries throughout the world, SCU Students, faculty, and staff can get a digitized (scanned PDF) book chapter or a journal article within the Library’s collection by submitting a request using their Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery account.
LINK+ is a courier service that allows for rapid borrowing of books & media from libraries throughout California & Nevada.

What is a database?
A database in general is a collection of information organized to be searched by computer. On the SCU Library Website, our electronic databases are collections of articles or in-depth reports that you can retrieve online.
The library has subscriptions to both general databases (example: Academic Search Complete) or subject specific databases (example, English or Ethnic Studies). These databases usually provide full-text access to journal articles.
