Multi-payer OA Funding Workflow

  1. Corresponding author indicates primary affiliation with an eligible institution at submission
  2. Author receives email with link to online licensing and payment system (SciPris) when their article is accepted for publication
  3. Author creates/logs in to SciPris account (separate from submission system)

Hybrid Journal Article Process

  1. Author chooses an open access license (or opts out of Open Access)
  2. For OA articles, the $1000 subsidy covered by the library subscription is applied automatically

    1. When funding is available, author specifies details to pay the remainder of the APC
    2. When no grant funding is available, the library subscription covers the full cost
