Introduction to Library Resources for Engineers

General library information applicable to all engineering disciplines.

No Hunting Needed

The days of having to wander up and down the aisles of the library stacks to find a book is over (but still available if you want). You can now search the library's collections online from the comfort of your home or cute cafe.

The following sections in this guide will provide instructions on how to search for certain items on your own. The library's search system is not flawless, it's not uncommon to find a dead-end; but, have no fear! You can use the 24/7 Chat to ask for help, that's what it's there for.

Request This Item

If you find a book you can borrow that's not in the ARS, don't get lost in the rows of books! You can now request physical items to be retrieved by library assistants and choose a pick up location that will be convenient for you.
