The mission behind AI^2 is to explore the application of artificial intelligence in student learning and research. We gather and distribute ideas, examples, and other resources related to this emerging topic.

Aims to empower students to make a significant impact with artificial intelligence by offering comprehensive training in AI skills at all levels—introductory, intermediate, and advanced.

Mission is to foster interdisciplinary research, promote ethical AI education, and cultivate partnerships that ensure AI advances are safe, equitable, transparent, and beneficial to the broader good of society.

The Committee on Professional Ethics (COPE) promotes ethical conduct among computing professionals by interpreting and publicizing the ACM Code of Ethics, supporting ethics education, and recommending updates to the Code. COPE also reviews and adjudicates complaints involving violations of the Code of Ethics and ACM’s Anti-Harassment Policy.

AI Now develops policy strategies to redirect away from the current trajectory: unbridled commercial surveillance, consolidation of power in very few companies, and a lack of public accountability.

The Ethics of AI Lab at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Ethics has fostered academic and public dialogue about Ethics of AI in Context—the normative dimensions of artificial intelligence and related phenomena in all aspects of private, public, and political life.

The Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI) is an interdisciplinary institute established in 2019 to advance AI research, education, policy, and practice. Stanford HAI brings together thought leaders from academia, industry, government, and civil society to shape the development and responsible deployment of AI.

The Berkman Klein Center and the MIT Media Lab, as anchor institutions of the Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence Fund, are conducting evidence-based research to provide guidance to decision-makers in the private and public sectors, and to engage in impact-oriented pilot projects to bolster the use of AI for the public good, while also building an institutional knowledge base on the ethics and governance of AI, fostering human capacity, and strengthening interfaces with industry and policy-makers.
